We went out to pick pumpkins at Pappy's pumpkin patch this year. Grammy, Pappy, Aunt Lauren, Haleigh and Great Grandma Carole all came out for some fun. We had a great time - well everyone but Mitchell. He was not really happy to hang with the pumpkins, so he stayed inside with Grandma. Here are some pictures from our day.

Fixing the car
Last weekend, Aiden help daddy do some maintenance on the Tahoe. They rotated the tires, checked the brakes, and did an oil change on the vehicle. Aiden had such a great time helping his daddy. Now I just need to learn how to get oil stains out of his clothes!
Mitchell and I spent the weekend with Grammy, Aunt Lolo and Grammy's friend Ann, at the Women of Faith conference. We had a great time hearing God's message and bonding with other women.

Updates
I have been horrible about updating my blog, so I just updated the last month! Please check it out! It goes back to August, so I think I added like 8 new entries. School is going really well, but it keeps me very occupied with homework and having two munchkins on top of everything else has been an adjustment. I am taking 12 credits this semester, including my practicum. My practicum is at the CO state health department laboratories and I am processing the flu samples that come into the department. We are able to type for Influenza A, B and H1N1. My project is looking at the rapid flu test and seeing if it is sensitive and specific for the H1N1 virus. We have hundreds of samples come in weekly, so thankfully I am getting lots of hands-on experience. Asa is in the middle of fire academy for work and he is really enjoying the extra training. He has the boys on Tuesday and Thursday nights while I am in class and he just loves his time with just the boys!

Little German Boy
Aiden got some lederhosen from Grammy for Christmas a couple years ago. When Eva and Oma went back to Germany, I asked them to get Aiden a shirt and they brought back a shirt, hat and socks! Aiden would not wear the socks and I barely got the hat on him, but the finished product is very cute! If he refuses to wear his pirate costume this year, he may be a little German boy!
