When Aiden gets to dress himself...

When we got up and I had to get Aiden ready for the day, he wanted to pick out his own clothes. No problem. Well, all Aiden wanted to wear were shorts. And it was snowing outside. We finally came to a compromise and here is the outfit that was decided upon... The best part was we had errands to run all day including taking Asa lunch, so everyone at Asa's work plus the shoppers in Littleton all got a good giggle out of my little man's outfit. But he smiled all day!

Crazy week!

My attempt was to post every few days, but that was before I decided to get sick! Thankfully Aiden and Asa are feeling pretty good. I am 24 weeks pregnant and the baby is very active and always letting me know s/he is there. School has been busy with two tests last week so I have been studying lots too! Never a dull moment here. Also, we lost our cable for the camera, so we are having a hard time downloading them to post here. As soon as we figure something out we will have pictures to post. Until next time - thanks for reading and hopefully we will all be healthy and have pictures on the next post.

Aquarium Night

This weekend we decided to go to the aquarium at night! It was so nice to go without the crowds. There were so few people, we could go at a good pace for us and Aiden got to spend extra time in some areas and run through others. He loved to watch the fish (loved seeing "Eemo") and the turtles.

Waterton Canyon

We had a great time walking the Waterton Canyon trail on Friday. Aiden loved to ride in his stroller, help push his stroller and run free! The weather was beautiful and we found lots of good fishing holes to visit this summer!

Chocolate Chip Cookies, Yummy!

We made cookies for the first time together. Aiden loved holding the mixer and pouring ingredients into the bowl. And he made multiple dips into the chocolate chips before we mixed them into the dough. He wanted to lick all the spoons, but we wouldn't let him because of the raw eggs in the cookie dough. He loved the end results of cookies and milk and keeps asking to make cookies again!

Aiden has mastered the pout!

How can you say no to this face?

Meal Time!

These pictures are from Tuesday night. We have been trying to encourage Aiden to eat, "like a big boy." That includes using a spoon or fork and attempting to get it in his mouth. However, by the end of the meal, he has resorted back to the old ways of using his hands and drinking from his bowl. I guess he will get it one of these days. Until then I am destined to sweep and mop under his chair after every meal!
